Search CRIS Database

NIFA captures information from your project initiations and reports, to share with the public. CRIS (Current Research Information System) is a U.S. Department of Agriculture documentation and reporting system. It provides the public with information about ongoing and recently completed research projects in agriculture, food and nutrition, and forestry. Projects are conducted or sponsored by USDA research agencies, state agricultural experiment stations, land-grant universities, other cooperating state institutions, and participants in NIFA-administered grant programs, including Small Business Innovation Research and National Research Initiative, and the programs administered by the NIFA Science and Education Resources Development unit. Search functions are provided at the website that help users to find and learn about research supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

To search the CRIS database, please go to https://cris.nifa.usda.gov. Once you are at the site, the "assisted search" link provides parameters in which to search.
